Fall & Winter 2016

This fall is a study in contrasts. There’s the boxy, indifferent, menswear-inspired looks and the new nautical trend, complete with double-breasted coats and brass buttons. Then there are the romantic, Elizabethan period pieces, showcasing velvet, lush brocades, and bell sleeves. And then there are those looking to stitch it all together, focusing on visible, edgy constructions and splashes of bright colors for a punk-inspired look.

01 GOTHIC ROMANCE: NIGHT FOREST & ROSE QUARTZ

Inspired by the Tim Burton take on fairy tales, this striking fall trend is all about dark undertones combined with pretty pastels for a touch of romance. Layers of dark lace and floral patterns paired with leather make for a charmed and surreal fall motif.

Night Forest brings a touch of Victorian to the every day. Evoking velvet and corsets, madrigals and courtesans, it’s the ideal romantic accent for fall.

Dreamy and fanciful, Rose Quartz is the perfect fall pastel. It accents this season's darker Victorian themes with an alluring lightness and poetic touch.

02 MILITARY EDGE: OLIVE MOSS & LEMON ZEST

From casual street wear to buttoned-up suits, military and nautical influences are making a strong showing this season, especially when paired with futuristic, sporty layers or punk-inspired elements such as leather pants and chunky boots.

Whether in nature or on the street, Olive Moss is just the right shade of green for fall. It brings a subtle edginess to anything it’s paired with, whether bright colors or more subdued tones.

Lemon Zest adds a welcome pop of brightness to fall’s muted wardrobe or an unexpected accent to military, menswear-inspired styles.

03 ECLECTIC POP: BURGUNDY WINE & MINT ICE

Combining folk patchwork, tailored layers, and cool highlights inside of deep, rich hues, this season’s eclectic trend is anything but predictable. Pops of bright colors, unusual for fall, are showing up all over, in the most unexpected places.

Burgundy Wine is rich, lush, and evocative, making it the ideal color to pair with both dark fall hues or vivid splashes of brightness.

Cool and refreshing, Mint Ice is a surprising accent that can brighten any fall wardrobe and pairs beautifully with warmer, deeper tones.
