Amazon Prime Day is a 36 hour, online-deals event that started in July of 2015, to celebrate Amazon's 20th birthday. It is a "global shopping event, offering more deals than Black Friday, just for Prime members.”
Last year’s Amazon Prime Day saw an increase in sales of over 60% from 2016, which equates to $2.9 Billion dollars in one day, and for some categories, Prime Day delivers bigger sales than Christmas!
